Tears of Deceit

A long-hanging crucifix brings fame and wealth to an old Gothic Church in Latrobe, Pennsylvania. Is it caused by human deceit or true divine intervention?..

My thoughts this evening,
a five minute poem.

This has to be
our age of discovery
where
lives are won
and pain is lost.

where
the worries
between us
are quelled forever
whatever the cost.

Our time together
must be loving
or
our future
will surely be lost.

Meaningless and empty
hurled blind into eternity
all the joy and love
we've known and held
will be tossed.

Very philosophical and true to the core. I am afraid that mankind has lost his way and before too long all will be lost unless we all turn to the light....

Nice progression of thoughts and a very pleasant flow for this poem.

It is easy to relate to the ideas/feelings expressed.
