Kentucky Bound...

For Turkey day in Kentucky I will be found,

Would like a break from NJ’s hustle, bustle & sound,

A meal out there will be fully round,

So off to the land of Bluegrass I will be bound,

Of course I will be taking the big hairy smelly hound…

In the northern part of the state,

Near the Ohio river, will bring rods & bait,

I’ve done the drive out there many times,

Leaving Monday night, arriving Tuesday late…

In case I do forget, and I do forget often,

Let me now wish you all a Happy T-day,

Will miss you all for about a week,

Driving will most certainly be fun,

On the way home with the rest of the travelers at its peak…
