Seeing a prism through an icicle
as it hangs in pristine beauty, the
sun reflects the purity within, before
it melts it completely

The trees too, look like glass from the ice
storm that has passed, and the sun is now
thawing  their beautiful icy dress

The different forms that nature assumes
so provacative, when you stop to think
of it, and has many analogies to our  own
facade, In all  the different seasons of our
lives we are at times like the landscape,
the mountain,  the seas, the skies

In Spring we too find ourselves regaled
in splendid fashion that explode upon
the scene like the daffodils and cana lily's

Summertime we assume the laconic style
of undress, lounging around in  lazy loose
demeanor, to accomodate the sultry sun

We have our times of resplendent dress
like the Autumn foliage, we exude colorful
exteriors dressed in our new fall finery

In Winter that cold season of splendid
snowy-showy beauty, we cover ourselves
in colorful clothes of wool to keep out the
chill while we dress nature in the season
of glorious sights with Christmas lights

In all of these seasons we too, assume the
raiment of the storms that come in such
variety and  velocity that can soak us
freeze us, flood us, assail us ,knock us down
scare us, and sometimes even end us.

How we all blend together in this hodge-
podge of creation, people and nature, earth
and heaven, beauty and beast, love and hate
all to be celebrated as this glorious thing we
call life.

How we celebrate the seasons of life depends on attitude and where one's heart is. I choose to celebrate The Birth of The Saviour, Jesus Christ, rather than get caught up in the political correctness/commercialism of the season. I was reminded of God's provisions/miracles this week, several times; I know He is still in the Miracle making Business; it has happened to us this week and yesterday. Yes, He still lives, even after all these years; God is ALIVE and well! :)

Beautiful reminder, Eileen; thank you!

God bless you mightily, now during this Christmas season and ALWAYS!

(((HUGS))) and much love, your friend in Tx., Karen Lynn. :D

For me Eileen, I'm a heck of a lot more passionate when it;s cold outside. I get like a furnace. I admire your attention to the emotions and passions that come with the seasons. I didn't know it snows where you are.

Keep warm.
