Just some of my own personal beliefs and not meant to be reflection on anyone elses... Fee

I Pray

By: Fee

I will hold my head up when I pray

Proud of the things Iíve done today

I need not kneel to talk to God

I believe he listens though Iím odd

To seek his solace I need never go

To a stained glass castle for a show

I find his beauty in the morning sun

His laughter in a sparkling riverís run

Feel his compassion in a babyís love

Know deliverance is offered from above

For Jesus walked just a common man

As I humbly do too, much as I can

When tonight I lay me down to sleep

My heart, body and soul are his to keep.

Exactly. Wonderful, wonderful statement. God is not confined to a church. God is all around us. Great job! Adding this to my favorites.

I feel the same way, Fee. After all, He is omnipresent. I believe church is just so we can share our feelings with others who feel the same way. Well penned:) Sheila

A wonderful prayer Felix..
I've always thought I should talk to
Him in prayer like I would talk to you
or anyone.

This sounds like the heart felt thoughts of many
there are people who are religious

I will hold my head up when I pray
Proud of the things Iíve done today
I need not kneel to talk to God

oh yes! takes me back to the days when Greeks shouted it out or discussed with theirs - when folk walked up mountains, when the relationship sparkled with life - iīm writing one about a church i know that is a circus tent, magical show, canvass flapping in the breeze....wonderful poem Fee, Love, Nicky xx

What a beautiful write you share with us Felix as we were always taught that Jesus hears us at all times if we are laying in our bed or kneeling or holding our heads high with pride. I like to go to church but I also know Jesuse lives within my heart. Thank you dear Cuz. I just happen to know you are a wonderful person and so does God.

Love ya face Cuz XOXOXOXO, Rose

Beautiful write, Fee, well done. I still believe. Don't go to church, because of mankind's twistings of God's word. I read the Bible to get what church I need. :) Excellent.

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.

Nice thoughts, Felix. As many women, I prefer the standard architectural support, and above and beyond doesn't hurt during certain weeks, and I do envy your ability to survive amongst the beauties of nature ... really, I do.
