Poem inspired by the story of Odysseus

Quest

Do you know who you are?

Do you know what you are?

Will you answer the call

To find yourself,

Or will you hide from the danger?

Will you stand in awe of the wind and the waves,

And then blame your failure on circumstances?

Remember, you are mortal;

Yet you can live forever in menís minds.

The choice is up to you Ė

Will you follow a path or force your own?

You are not alone.

Others have gone before you, others will follow.

Help will be given, if you are worthy.

Unlooked for it will find you.

Believe in yourself, but do not deceive yourself.

Remember, you are human.
