New Year's Replacement

A New Year, time to say good-bye to the past and the people of the past.

She had loving aqua eyes,
Soft purring sighs.
A soft, snowy body encased in a silky gown,
She had magic fingers that could make your love come down.
A soft, whispering voice, caressing your ear,
Saying soothing things that your ego needed to hear.
Long, dark hair that flowed like a mist,
Soft, full lips that you liked to kiss.
She was a jasmine scented comforter, that would tease and delight,
You had long pillow talk conversations that lasted into the night.
What will replace these simple pleasures?
What will substitute for these lost treasures?
Now just memories linger,
For all has vanished, like smoke that has slipped through your fingers.

MUSIC: She's Like The Wind

What greater loss than that of a once passionate love affair... but I am guessing more his loss than yours. You do have a way with words... well penned SC
