My friend of many years is going through a terrible break-up, and after hearing her sadness --- these words was in my mind when I awoke this morning. So I would like to dedicate this to Belle, there is a light at the end of the tunnel. The picture was taken during a trip to the Rockies, near Jasper.

The fog is lifting
I can see the clearing
Now the truth
Will be with me, dear.

My eyes will adjust
My mind will deal
How to go about
I have my doubts.

My heart is thumping
Then it skips a beat
My pulse is racing
Thinking of our embrace.

That will not be
For you have chose your path
To walk without me
How can it be?

The years did pass
More than a few
But that matters not
For you got what you bought.

I know like the snow
It will go away
Not to be seen
In my eyes today.

But the sun is shining
The rain has stopped
The fog is lifting
My thoughts are drifting.

There is a saying in French: "Après la pluie, le beau temps." I am reminded of this at the close of your poem... ...that ray of hope for good to come of all of this. Thank you, Sanja. Love and best wishes,
