Sometimes the best bait is a whisper.

Tell me
Whisper
Soft as the breath
Drawn in on wonder
Sweeter
Than a bakery birthday cake
As delicious as
Christmas morning
A vision
Cloaked in a baby-powder fog
Your lure
Includes tendrils
Winding sweet-pea gentle
Barbed-wire tough
Morphine-dipped
And I canít bear it
Yet fighting is impossible
Please tell me
Youíre caught on the other end

SAND - WELL DONE!

I really like it. the alternating textures kinda 'tickle my fancy' ... if you 'catch my drift'.

then, after re-reading, applying the title... I get the visual of a spider web...

hasta la vista, baby... tom
