Excellent write, this is a topic I write about a lot in my stories: how parents cope with unbelievable tragedy/illness/disability. Very well penned, Kathy; brava!

Meltdowns happens only to volcanos, then are one!!!!! which from inside hot lava made of words burn the skin of our souls and the flesh of our hearts...

Not so sure all these "obstacles" are to test our faith . . . What of those who have no faith . . . They also have obstacles . . . Does overcoming our obstacles make us stronger and wiser, hes indeed it does . . . But it does that to the one with faith and the ones without . . .

I'm sure your faith helped make the meltdown only temporary. Yesterday, my wife and I were trying a business event and when 1 person of the 40 invited showed up -- I pouted for 5 minutes and then got on the phone and started calling more people.

My impression of you that I have from reading your works is that you get right back up and go again.

Life as a perpetual candle is tough, but hey, it can be done. I should know. It's good to remember that wax can be reformed-- that it's plyable, that when scented, the heat just makes us more beautiful, that burning from the inside-out is normal and natural, that there are millions more just like us out there doing the same melt-down stuff. But God is a proficient wax-molder. That's good to keep in mind too. Thanks for all you do. --Charlie

It happens from time to time, but human nature dictates us to get out from an uncomfortable situation and try to put ourselves into a better light. Very nice, enjoyed it.
