A Dangerous Frame of Mind

The road runs on before me
from where I used to be
The world spins on wildly
and I'm fighting to be free.
Few have come to the battle
and fewer hold the line.
Courageous souls are needed,
it's time to rise and shine.
Ready or not, here I come
I gotta lay it on the line--
Ready or not, It's time to climb
into a dangerous frame of mind--
I've seen men turn to shadow
and I've seen the light take hold.
And I'm driven to discover
why dreams are bought and sold.
I tremble with uncertanty
in a place that's strange and new.
Another me is emerging--
born of fire, tried and true .
Ready or not, here I come
I gotta lay it on the line--

into a dangerous frame of mind--
I've only just begun--
there's so much to be done--
But my spirit knows,
I'm never on my own--
I've learned right from wrong--
my weakness has made me strong--
I ride a spirit-wind--amored with its song----

I've only just begun--
