Uncharted Way

As we make our way through life's journey, we often lose our way and need some hope and guidance along this uncharted way. |
|
As we travel through this life
and try to make it on our own,
We find it's quite a struggle
to find the way alone.
It's easy to get lost
along the many unmarked trails,
To toss about life's seas
like a ship that has no sails.
We dream with great ambition
of where we'll be someday,
But encountering distractions,
we often lose our way.
Feeling lost and all alone,
overcome with great remorse,
We may abandon hope
once we've strayed so far off course.
When we feel completely hopeless
and recognize the need
For guidance and direction,
for someone to take the lead,
It's time to accept the guidance
God is ready to provide,
And recognize we never
should have any other guide.
God illuminates our pathway,
letting love provide the light,
As we rest in the assurance
that God's way is always right.
God will take us by the hand
and with us will always stay,
As He lovingly guides us
along life's uncharted way.

Unpardon me but I relent it boldly;
For it is far ahead, if I can be sure of it,
And far it is, that my hallucination be valid,
And hallucination it is, as it should be,
And however, unlike itself, mysterious, unknown, and untested,
So it be foreseen in my tireless search.
