I never thought that this could happen to;
A girl as plain as me,
My heart and head are fighting on what I should do.

Heís breaking down this wall,
That was built to protect my fragile heart,
So many years of climbing,
No man has ever broken it apart.

Brick by brick
And stone by tiny stone,
Heíll make it through,
If I even let him into my zone.

I take two steps back,
And He moves 1 step ahead,
Iím not use to the worship
That he, for me, has bledÖ

He has those words store up,
I can see it in his eyes.
He loves me with all of his bones,
He looks at me as his prize.

Iíve been hurt too many times
To count on one hand,
I donít think I could ever love again.

But his is patient and kind,
And understands my soul,
And how all these words,
Are hard for me to let go.

So I look beyond all of that,
Hoping for the best,
Being everything but a cynic,
I canít love him is what I have to confess.

Ah, love is a fragile, BUT tough old bird, love finds its way inside the coldest or the most defensive hearts . . . Nice work here . . .

I've read all three of your poems and find you've a very good pen. Life can be very difficult but for sure it's also an excellent teacher. We try to survive in the short time that we're here on earth and whatever decisions we make, whether good or bad, they're ours to make because in the end we're the ones that have to live with them. There's a smooth flow to your writing that I really like. You purge from your soul and write with your heart. May You Always Find Peace, Love and Blessings, Paul.
