I upset the inner applecart, bitterly shedding sharpened tears
A daggered plunge on the duece of spades, tarot cards dealt through fated years
A blessed part of the sainted elite, Mother Theresa's mission certainly appeals
I've learned to roll with the punching tide, well-suited to my own ideals
I failed to achieve my pinnacled wants, no piety found in my ironic climb

From the bottom of the rugged mountain, the rising sun comes into clearing view
A brighter vision of my life ahead, golden curtain opens, spreads a grand debut
I smile through pouring tears of happiness, resplendent, having no regret
Arrived, this person standing tall before you who can forgive and then forget..
Emotional renewal, the graciousness of largesse love sublime

You, my best of fail-safe friends, in honorarium remained close-by
Godsent, henceforth to occupy the greater portion, nigh
a spacious dwelling in my heart that only you could fill
My steady-anchored shelter, hearthwarming refuge, island hill
miles above the storm-tossed seas, the cold cruel world's paradigm

Underbellied wisdom, far beyond intellectual measure, special feelings
Feathered garden heralds, velvet green and red wine hummingbirds, revivaled healings
Cut to the motivating meat of the matter, transcend my best endevors
Your harmonied words are clinging bonds that can't be broken, never severed
A trilling song of worthy notes, brightly polished fluttery rhyme

Lasso life's experiences, the known and unknown reasons
the sliding noose that travels in and out of cautioned seasons
The ingraved invitation's given; heed the household valuables, lares and penates
letting go of yesterday's sorrows, forgetting all tomorrow's dieties
give careful thought to live your life, each day within it's limited frame of time
