A Moment

Ants parade in slow motion
Lizard flick-tongues a beetle
New blades of grass wilt
Horsefly turns off engine
Thirsty flowers pray
Heat wilts spring leaves
Bumblebee is stilled
Mindful human nods
Life in July
For sixty seconds
