A Moment

Ants parade in slow motion
Lizard flick-tongues a beetle
New blades of grass wilt
Horsefly turns off engine
Thirsty flowers pray
Heat wilts spring leaves
Bumblebee is stilled
Mindful human nods
Life in July
For sixty seconds

Bill, I'm a summer person...thrive in sunny, warm weather. This poem made me miss it even more! Am thankful I am going back home for 10 days next month. By the time I get back, spring will have sprung in Milan!

Thinking ahead to summer days - warming! Personally, I like it a bit cooler - like Spring and Fall, and yes, even winter.

God bless you. Kathy

A micrcosom of life on planet earth neath the source of our energy, sol. And with blessings, it repeats and repeats. Nature's beat. Another good write Bill. Jon Michael Willey

Flash flick reminder that before too long summer's heat will be back to heat things up all over again. Well done.

Captured perfectly - so much said in so few words - excellent, Bill.
