i hope is in line with common sense,
and not with the negative pretense.
i hope is in line with right and wrong,
not weak but truly strong.
i hope it's in line with love,
and forgiveness from God above.
i hope i can see through others eyes,
understand their selfish alibis.
i hope i can feel a good heart,
before the foolishness starts.
i hope i can feel a soul that is kind,
help that soul hold on to his mind.
the way i see it may be through similar sight,
but there's a big difference in wrong and right.
there's a big difference in human beings,
unlike birds they do not have wings.
the way i see it lifes more dearer,
when we keep truth and justice nearer.
