Ashore she did crawl,

A human she did look to maul,

With tentacles quite thick,

Pain she did wish to inflict…

From the deepest depths she did come,

Not many humans did she want, just some,

The last of her kind & about to give birth,

Several young ones, you can tell by her girth…

If born on land, the human existence will cease,

No one could stop them not even the police,

No longer will there be in this human world,

Any more humans to create a press release,

She and her progeny rule in total peace…

Better than a boot! She's a real hoot! Those tentacles look like follicles to me.

Good for her; I hope she and her progeny do a better job of running this old planet than we did. And ye best run inland, Bro - quickly. I hear she likes to lay her eggs in human facial hair - gives her cute little ones something to chew on when they hatch.

Wow! If this photograph isn't Hunting Island State Park, South carolina...then it's a l;ot eerier than your poem here. If you get down south...go there...it will make you a believer of your own words.
Blessings and love,
Susan
