Young Stars in the Rho Ophiuchi Cloud
...NASA

Last in the series

...

surging up inside of me
with the force of a tsunami
the urge to soar the galaxies
where unknown life is living free

how can i still my restless spirit
i can't deny  forces within  that
won't stop its din,  has me in a spin

there must be a way to assuage the
crave that threatens to make me a
star gazing slave

i decide to let my spirit soar, and
out the open door i fly up to the
tumultuous sky,feeling so high

i pass through clouds that roil with
rage, like the finest actor on a stage
portraying the rath of a Creator, who
is causing havoc with the equator

the winds help blow me through  storms
action, and soon i have found my traction
as i soar an unknown galaxy, on a course
into infinity

now the drama will unfold in  colorama
that startles the eyes with surprise as
hues never seen before embrace places
with strange faces

my visit has me mesmerized ,by each
view that greets my eyes, makes me
wonder with hunger if  these realms
where i love to play will be my final
reality one day

Beautiful writing Eileen
I always enjoyed reading your poetry
I read in a book that when
We die our spirit is free to travel anywhere in the world!
I want mine to stay in the mountains!
Inspiring journey my friend!

They said that after we die, our spirit is free to roam the universe and could travel to any place out there, you will have an eternity to visit each and everyone.
Hell most be to be relegate to the eternal shadows outside the universe and don't see the light no more.
Your poem got me going...sorry.

In the words to one of the old "Highwaymen" songs, Johnny Cash proclaims. "I'll fly a starship cross the universe divine -- and when I reach the other side -- I'll find a place to rest my spirit if I can -- perhaps I may become a highwayman again -- or I may simply be a single drop of rain -- but I will remain -- And I'll be back again -- and again -- and again -- and again." Your poem is worthy of many readings. I will save and savor it often. Jon Michael Willey

I believe that you have been a viable, living being in another galaxy . . . I believe that your inner soul strives to reach out and grasp your roots . . . I believe that these transparent poems you have graced AD with are like Morse Code searching the heavens for your past . . . I could be wrong, but you are certainly a celestial being within you heart . . . And you can take that to whatever bank you want to . . .
