Why man has stopped to listen to his heart?
Why man, after seeing a suffering soldier's lonely death still goes to war?
Why we insist on walking barefoot on a road made of broken glass?

Man should stop and listen to his heart,
because is the only one to tell the truth
when the ears are listening to many lies
and idols are standing in evil’s hooves.

Go man, walk your world, conscience
you think no need for, live life without,
one day you will reach that golden age
and will regret what you did with youth.

Man become deaf to many words said
truth whispered too many times before
don’t reach the ears of a greedy man
Justice has given its place to Mammon.

The people are walking on broken glass,
deaf, bleeding to dead they don’t know
that every shard is one more of little lies
that for not hear they heart, over, they walk.

A great title, so visual, physically painful, for a poem that shows the danger with a loving voice. Enslaved to Mammon, humans are not much. Conscience is lost, the heart has been cut by the glass we put on our way. A message of truth written in a personal style, Georg.

So very true, many look, but do not see, therefore continue walking through this maze called life ignoring all the signs and repeating history once more. Georg, know I am a little late, but wishing you a wonderful and most fulfilled birthday! God bless always....

Be always safe,
Karen
