A somewhat comical Nonet poem...

Half my life I’ve spent  with you, my dear,
and half my heart I gave to you
(I couldn’t give you both halves
because then I would die),
but you gave me half
of your heart, and
together
we are
one

Ok Cryssa, This is an absolute favorite. I have often wondered how I could possibly love my man with all my heart and yet still live. This shows my how and why I still have a whole heart and he is part of it. I love this, makes me smile and puts together the puzzle in my head.

Say, Sue P has a great idea. I do like this half-hearted shape, though. Cute, cute, cute.

Nonet poem-- never tried one. For those who want to try it,
form: Nine lines.
The first: Nine syllables long
Each succeeding line has one less syllable. (9,8,7,6...)
Thus the last line: One syllable long.

I'd say you did a super job. A+ --Charlie
