A Bloodbath!
Glistening diamonds pink and blue
Stabbed by rays of artic sun,
Every turn a different hue,
The cold steel of a gun,
Colder yet, the heart that beats,
Takes aim at baby seals,
Before it lived, its death it meets,
Beside its mother squeals,
No better, than that other lot,
On bullets dry to save,
Instead of gun, use cruel club,
Escapees, from the cave,
Proud of their tradition hail,
Prince Williams’s chieftain strong,
To get their quota, will not to fail,
Thereafter, drink and song,
Their lilting tunes on TV play well
Their dance and frolic tunes,
While those they killed had suffered hell,
At hands, of greedy goons,
Spare me the frolics and the song,
It best you play a dirge,
My heart and stomach not that strong,
To heave, I have the urge,
The sun it sets, comes up again,
A witness to the dastard deed,
Its sparkle, it has lost in shame,
She blushes red, for gory creed,
That splashed the ice with blood,
A greedy ritual, so deranged,
That sullied, spoiled this pristine spot,
It’s time that this is changed!
