Listen

I know of a blind man
who just doesn't want to see
The things he's heard about the world
Is not his philosophy

I know of a deaf man
Who just doesn't want to hear
The things he's seen in this violent world
Made his hopes fast disappear

I know of a dumb man
Who just doesn't want to speak
The things he's seen and heard my friends
Just makes his heart go weak

But switching off and denying life
Won't help them in the end
Cause' seeing, hearing and talking through
Is the message we must send

Now sometimes life is bitter sweet
Things have happened to us all
But we must rise up and hold the line
Or someday we all may fall
