When we destroy earth where shall we go? Have we ever raised that question?

I am a doctor from space
I treat ailing planets
A patient visited me today
Its name is " Mother Earth"

The earth is sick
it was driven crazy
It is dying out
It is collapsing

Its roof is damaged
Its seas are rising
Its ice is melting
Its rivers are drying

With the strings of greed
Povety had strangled it
Disease pulled it down
Anarchy wreaked havoc

To save earth from its own people
I recommended tablets of peace
Swallowed with waters of justice
Using the golden cup of love

Should conditions do not improve
I suggest you all join us in space
A refugee camp is not a bad idea
We shall build one for you

There you will not talk about wars
You will all be brothers and sisters
No class, no color, no creed, nothing
Under the tent you will all be equal

Wealth has divided you in this world
But in there poverty will unite you
Your próblems will have same color
Food and shelter will be your main talk

But that is not all
We keep eye on you
To follow your movements
Lest you bring trouble to us

Excellent write Lil Brother but I agree with Ed somewhat. Some miscreants might slip through and mess up utopia as well. In gatitude forever for caring and sharing.. Grangran-n-Baba

The 'remedy' is matchless and the supervision, well, comforting? Depends. Interesting write here.

You bring out many fine points and yes, it is about time for us all to pay attention and be kinder to mother earth...

Be always safe,

Sorry 0 there is no place on earth that is safe--the only place to go is called Heaven--Eternal Life--we will all be there in the end days when earth is no longer--there are two places in eternal life HEAVEN AND HELL - Hell is where the bad people go and they will endure eternal fire--Heaven is for the good people and there will be Peace and joy FOR EVER.

A powerful look at our ailing Earth. Well penned and thought provoking.

Very eye opening poem. Don't you know that people are the virus
of the Earth? for millions of years animals have learned to respect the Earth's gifts and lived side by side with Nature. Man has always tried to conquer Nature and has enough Ego to believe they can win. But Nature and Earth know much better. Sorrow for Mankind when they finally figure out what a treasure they are destroying with their greed and selfishness.

thought provoking and sad but true and needed to be written!

This is a frightening piece Abdi Noor precisely because it rings so true. I hope I'm long gone before it all comes to an end! Excellent write!...ET

To save earth from its own people

Hard to imagine that Mother Earth's greatest enemy are her own children; yet, it is so sadly and horribly true. But I, for one, truly hope that after we destroy Earth, we don't zoom off in our spaceships to destroy another of God's glorious planets.
