Out Of His Head?
He was lost but found; left of center and out of bounds.
Yet he is not bound not by the flesh or of earthly dreams.
His eyes were born of the ages and have given witness of too many things.
Some say of him that he is not right, and poor thing, you know he’s only half bright.
Yet others call him a master, a wise old sage; his words clean, and pure as light.
Then one day, well… they dressed in white came and took him away.
It was said he was found naked at the top of a large, old oak tree.
He was preaching about the coming end, and spoke adamantly of hearts that refused to mend.
Now it may be true of what he said; then again like some say, he was out of his head.
He might have really been truly out of bounds, but his words pierced my heart; my soul and a new home they have found.
