Written in 2004; a sweet morseful for love
I’ve Never Met You
In many ways, I’ve never met you,
Yet our lives blend like raspberry fruit and yogurt,
As if we were created to be where we are today,
Completely swirled into the smoothest love affair,
So intensely present, we forget our own names.
Even when we are not together,
we are hand in hand,
locked in passionate kisses,
my heart sits within your heart
and my ability to change my whole life
just to love you forever; is such a tiny request
if you are my reward.
The strongest adjectives clearly underemphasize
How I feel about you.
Such a blessing you are, I will never feel worthy,
And I know I will never get over
my need to always be with you
You are the best lyric
that the whole world loves
In a favorite love song
I Love You
