Grandma gave me so much and so many memories. This is just one of them.

God’s Love Was Sound!

Going to a wedding when I was very small.
Gave me loads of memories, one recollection most of all.
It rained on this brides wedding day and I felt so sad.
But Grandma stood beside me, looking up and looking glad.

I asked her why God would let it rain on this brides special day?
She smiled as she looked at me and then began to say.
“God must have loved her very much, for he washed the streets so clean.”
That memory always stayed with me, that day I thought God mean.

On a sunny day in April, I took my marriage vows.
It was the most beautiful day the best that God allows.
But as I walked outside the church, raindrops floated down.
I looked up and smiled, for I knew God’s love was sound.

We had a bit of rain, too...how 'bout that? another coincidence!
This one is so dear--your grandmother was one special lady. You are blessed to have memories of her and to have her sayings of wisdom in your heart.

Truly a sentimentally written piece, looking back to a glorious day and to know that God was also there to shed his wisdom and blessings....
