(I loved him
                                     much more than             anything
ought to be loved)

I have worshiped
at someone’s feet

Cared until my heart bled
I adore him
I am
cursed
bound
under a spell that cannot be broken

I love him more
than I love life itself

(I have loved a man
so much that it took my breath away)

Have you ever felt this way?

I agree with Deborah's comments. Love like that if it's ever betrayed one may never overcome the shock.

Yes I have and it almost killed me! ha

I have found sometimes when we elevate a man so much he takes the place of worship only meant for God. How is it that we women fall so easily into the trap of worshiping love so much that men trample us?

Well said and written! Deborah
