It's actually a country song.
I have the tune in my head, but,, can't sing worth a lick...

Laying here beside you
studying your face
while your sleeping
all emotions in place

You'll never know
how much I love you
because I can't tell you
my hearts truth

I'm afraid of rejection
My fear is strong inside
I pretend I don't care
My love I try to hide

It should be so easy
to let go of my fears
after all this time together
after all the years

and I try
I truly try

You move slightly
snuggling against me
I close my eyes
acting like I'm asleep

I don't want you to catch me
staring at you
That would be a dead give away
It would show my hearts truth

And I try
I truly try

My space
