Religion, love for God |

I am his child
even when I'm bad
even when I'm wild
In Gods eyes
I am what he is
I am only human
I am made in his image
In Gods eyes
I can do wrong
He will forgive me
His patience is long
In Gods eyes
My tears are caught in his hands
He lifts me up above it all
On solid ground he makes me stand
In Gods eyes
I can tell no lies
I can cuss no more
no matter how hard I try
Cause in Gods eyes
He has forgiven me
For all I've done wrong
In spite of his teaching
In Gods eyes
I am but like a child to him
Who needs her dad
To hug her over and over again
As I pray at night
I fold my hands and desperately try
To remember before I was born
and I looked In Gods eyes
