This is a true story, a case I am currently closing on HaltAbuse.org. The heroine is a girl who society brands as disabled, but, as we shall see ...

Disabled One?
by Ted L Glines

Chrissy grew up hard
she could not hear
uncertain and lonely
other kids would jeer.

Robert grew up mean
kicked dogs who were small
being a bully
made him feel so tall.

Chrissy needed a job
no one would hire
for she was disabled
and life was dire.

Chrissy answered an ad
in the City Times
this time she was hired
by a man full of crimes.

Robert - her boss
yes, she worked for this dude
cruely abused
he made her pose nude.

There is more to this time
but we won't go there
Chrissy lived through it
with no need to share.

Chrissy kept searching
'til she finally found
a job which would use her
but not by the pound.

She thought she was leaving
evil Robert behind
but that never works
not with his kind.

A predator wants
to pick on the weak
the victim's terror
is what they seek.

Robert emailed her job
put her address online,
put up Websites about her
he was feeling fine.

But the world moves on
and now ...

Chrissy has a loving husband
two daughters to protect
and a heart which has healed
from society's neglect.

And Chrissy has found
she has friends on the Net
who champion her cause
that's how good it can get.

Better than that
no longer scared and sad
our Chrissy's grown up
and she's hopping mad!

Robert is running
as his Websites go down
his emails don't work
(that gives him a frown).

He finds that his preying
is not worth a dime
now scared when confronted
with the warrants of crime.

Now I ask you truly
how is this labeled;
is it Chrissy or Robert
who is truly disabled?

I truly believe in what goes around comes around. Robert will find what he deserves and hopefully its to be some big lads huni in a prison jail cell. I hope that Chrissy heals well and sees that we are not all like Robert. Thank you for all that you are doing with HaltAbuse - you will make a difference.

You have truly stirred my emotions with this one... Robert is a sick BASTARD and he is the disabled one by far. I know a little bit about predators and Chrissy must fight not only for herself but for the others that may fall victim to this madness.

Thank God she was able to be a survivor and success... despite this misfortune in her life.

After so many years of, "we can't do nothing until a crime was commited..." it seems that the wheel are moving!
Predators, doesn't matter of what kind should be dealt swiftly, with a lot of pain if one can.

I thank everyone who has come onboard with your support of "Chrissy." She lives in the Houston, TX, area. So does Robert. I feel so fortunate to have been given this case, since I am just completing my training as a HaltAbuse.org volunteer. "Chrissy" was referred to HaltAbuse by the FBI, and she has been collecting all of Robert's sick emails and records of his Website posturings against her. "Chrissy" will be taking all of this evidence to the Texas Attorney General, I hope, because this monster needs to be taken down hard. It is with pure pleasure that I have been "disabling" Robert on the Internet. Yes!

Your reviews/support are more important than you know. "Chrissy" needs to know that there are some mighty good people out here who uplift her. It takes more than me to truly convince her. Thank you so much, AD friends!

Ted,

In answer to your question, Robert is the one who's disabled - such a sad situation. The "disabled" have enough trouble in the world without such creeps taking advantage of them - it's like those after a disaster - there are looters who rummage through what's left of someone's life - like Linda, I concur - Chrissy is the strong one. Such a sad story you pen today - well done. Eye opening excellence.

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.

Ted,
God bless little Chrissy, and a big BOOOO to Robert. There are many Robert's out there who prey on the disabled, the weak, the vunerable. I'm glad Chrissy was strong enough to STAND UP for herself in the end, to have a happy life with a husband and children who see her as she IS, a lovely , capable lady. This poem is a keeper.

Blessings,
~Linda

Glad this story turned out well for Chrissy. The predators are searching for life in all the wrong ways--they don't have a crutch to stand on.

I'd say Robert's the one who's disabled. Sad!! I pray God blesses the socks off of Chrissy; she deserves all the blessings she can get!! As for Robert, I pray he is caught and then rots in jail!!

(((HUGS))) and much love, your friend in Tx., Karen Lynn. :(
