|"The shadowing blue line of the ocean.
Met the paler blue of the sky."
This is a gorgeous image Lois. And your write transports the reader with ease. Blessings ...

|Thank you for transporting me along on your cruise vicariously through your poem. I've had friends take cruises and have often thought about what it would be like. Alas, I'm married to one who easily gets motion sickness on airplanes--I cringe at the thought of what would happen on a ship in the ocean so I'll have to be satisfied with "Descriptive Island Cruise/... It would be nice if the kids wrote a shared poem about the trip they are about to take--waht did they learn and experience from the trip.|

|I like the way you use a lesser known term at the end like, "sanguine". Very creative and clever!|

|Your poem is about as close as I'll come to an island cruise for quite awhile! Colorful and enjoyed the tour.... I'm guessing you live in FL now and went to the Carib. Yes?
