The shadowing blue line of the ocean.
Met the paler blue of the sky.
Sailing in a cruise ship in the Islands.
First night's dinner was succulent grilled mahimahi.
It is a favorite food of the island people.

We took along cool clothes in the island style.
To wear everyday on the ship. Into the pool each day I did swim.
Met new friends while swimming at the pool and in the jacuzzi.
Loved the coconut palms swaying in the breeze.
Watched people hang gliding, snorkeling, surfing, scuba diving. 
Saws girls in their bikini's strutting along the beaches soaking up the sun. Eventually going into the water to cool off because of the hot sun.

Everday it rains some on the islands, just a short sprinkle.
Delicious pineapple, rum and coconut coolers to drink.
Had a cone of rum raisin ice cream on the beach.
Listened to island music to be drooling over.
Strolling along the gift shops on the ship,
purchasing cheeses and gifts.

Pastel colors surrounding us all around.
Sunset over the island, the colors must be seen to be believed.
The sea was increditably blue going to a translucence
where the water shallowed.
Get a glimpse of this and you think you are in heaven.
Going through all this in my lifetime made me more
sanquine about the future.
