Depths of Serenity
Whitecaps dance across the ocean of blue,
brushing pristine shores of sandy beaches,
whistling wind howls with echoes so true ,
sight and sounds of nature as she teaches.
Seagulls spreading their wings as they soar,
particles of sand blow in the flowing wind,
the Sea’s mighty sounds create such a roar,
holding fast the secrets of where it has been.
Shades of pastels of blue light the sky above,
the Sun glistens, casting forth it’s warm rays,
mystique of nature which we’ve come to love,
the sea, the wind, the air sing a glorious praise.
Rapture and splendor opens our eyes to see,
the omnipotent waves rolling in to the shore,
aqua delight from the depths for you and me,
with each new wave knocking upon our door.
The sea is a water world lost in begotten time,
where the past and the present will often collide,
consumed with illusions presented to our mind,
where serenity and promise it will always provide.
