"...because these things are our dreams"

Confluence

These are the moments when our two lives touch
Like the confluence of underground streams
Little things which in the end mean as much
As big things because these things are our dreams
These are the moments of life lived as such

Without the mirror of another soul
Reflecting the me another can see
My perspective is only half the whole
And lacking in complementarity
To be my brother's keeper is my role

We reflect each other but we are two
The better to see another can be
The best thing for whatever might ail you
As you are for whatever might ail me
We dream and think and talk but then we do

With a friend like you can I get through this
And come out laughing on the other side?
Just make the pain stop never mind the bliss
Or other blessings we have been denied
(When I pull the trigger I never miss)

The moments of life must be lived as such
Bright rainbow-falls fed by underground streams
Little things which in the end mean as much
As big things because these things are our dreams
These are the moments when our two lives touch

Hey dear Brother, you are so right. We either follow our dreams, or live very lonely, unproductive lives. You know about my dreams and how I had to and still am fighting for their completion.

Our dreams are our goals in life, and we must go through a lot of quagmire to see those dreams completed. When we have friends, like you are to me, then our journey to see our dreams completed is easier.

Let us all be our brother's keeper, and help each other as much as we can. When we can mirror ourselves in our friends, then we know we are not alone, and that there are others out there with goals in the form of dreams, to complete.

Our lives are entwined dear brother, and we have had a hard go of it. But if we resign ourselves to completing those goals, and not just treating them as dreams, then we will have alighter load.

Thank you for sharing Steven.

May the Lord Jesus bless you, and those whom you dearly love, and be with you always, and at your side constantly. With much love in my heart, joy to the world, peace on earth, & ((((((((((MANY WONDERFUL SISTERLY HUGGGGSSSS)))))))))), your little sister, Barbie

A beautiful and descriptive write. If one looks for their reflection in others they will learn much about themselves they will surprised they had not known.
God Bless,

Good sentimental poem and make me in the crying stage. It is so beautiful a write and the photo is fabulous. Two lives go on forever and ever.

Steven,

We need the company of friends, sometimes, to get us through - excellently penned, but the line, 'when I pull the trigger I never miss' was disturbing to me - worried about you -

(((HUGS))) love and prayer, Karla. :(
