Into Us
To what do I owe the pleasure of that smile?
Have you been thinking “It’s been awhile?”
Are you wondering if I’ve missed you too?
No, need to wonder, for indeed it is true !
Kindled spirit - fire ignited from the start,
From the first time you looked into my heart.
Unlocking the door to dormant sentiments
Lulling the storm that till now rained in torrents.
Fortunate am I that you are in my life.
Once condemned to solitude with no one by my side,
Rapture now visits me on a regular basis.
Your feelings reflected by the mutual smiles on our faces.
Outsiders stare - wondering what the secret is.
Unaware of them – we kiss.

One to tug on the heart strings and when all is said and done a big smile evolves...
Be always safe,
