Mountain shanty of Singapore laced with the cobwebs of the sun days
Now lay at the chance of the scowling wind off the bay
Skies set ablaze by the lightning of the new season
While the door of the shack shackles its iron bonds.
In the doorway standing aloof and alone is the abandoned mongrel
The monsoon rains begin to fall breaking the coherence of the dirt below the shanty
The mongrel, fur dampened to the pink flesh underneath, whines for the companionship he once had
Shanty teleports through the whim of the wind and rain
Begins to slip toward the vacated town below.
Overwhelmed by the bitterness of nature the mongrel remains in the dying alive shack
Motion increases as the altitude drops
Mongrel of Singapore shuts its eyes perceiving inevitability
Shanty of Singapore shatters into the pebbles unsalvageable.
