as I reached for the words
either written or spoken
I recognized it was more
thought and feeling and
the very act of the reaching
began the dispensing dissolve
of the experience and I was
simultaneously ecstatically
joyful to have known
these thoughts
and felt such elevation
and sorrow for the
lack of poetic disclosure
to express it

Just reviewed Silver Celtic and said something like no matter what people think of you , you are yourself and what you make of yourself. Let noone put you down and don't put yourself down. Like the words in the photo too.

Hi Debby, so well explained - of the moments making up the truth of what cannot be easily explained/expressed - there should be one word good enough for explaining this there one word?? if not, why not?! Something like an extended epiphany? Oh, i dont know :)) Enjoyed, thanks xx

Amazing isn't it how finding the right words seems impossible yet after the poem is written, such as you have done her, it is perfect!

not all poetry can be expressed in word format, for example when se reach across the couch and tenderly run our fingers down our partners cheeks for no reason...that is poetry too.

Reaching for words is like go on a tree limb always trying another inch until we fall in our faces and discover that those words where all the time inside our heart.

I think that is something we've all felt at one time or another, but you expressed it so well.

Wonderful...and, again, we find ourselves riding the same wave. Last night, I began working on a poem based upon the same foundation. How blessed is the one who can know the feeling - the ecstasy - and understand that not all can be expressed in words. Someday, might we reach critical mass and find that this experience becomes our connecting thread - all words dispensed.
