A fun one...

Alive

I am alive
I am tingly and full of jive
I reach out and feel the earth around me
My vision is farther, farther than I can see

I am alive
Life is sharper than knives
Shooing the shadows away
I feel I will finally get my day
… Manic

nOT QUITE MANIC BUT NEAR IT. You are just feeling so good today and should enjoy it as it comes. Fighting manic depression isn't fun but can be dealt with very well, but fighting is the key to it. We all need bad days, so the good ones will be better ones and enjoyable.

Gotta love it!! I usually say that at the ennd of whatever dribble I have to say, but in this case it deserves the honor of begining the comments. THIS, "My vision is farther, farther than I can see" is the key to the whole poem . . . Loved it . . .
