We all have boneheads in our family. On the world news end of Jeremiah Wright hogging attention from the issues that are going to matter to most Americans, it is this writer's opinion that albeit that Barack Obama did not have a father figure, and like all people who grew up fatherless had to depend on the love and care of their grandparents or other significant older role models in their lives, I know that for me, the boneheads in our lives do NOT define who we are. I've got 'em, you've got 'em, and they are in every walk of life. Since the media absolutely loves boneheads from Don Imus to Rush Limbaugh to Bill Clinton to Sean Hannity--who've I've heard live and he turned off and offended an ENTIRE white convervative audience or 10,000 people--with exception of the few boneheads who thought he was good enough to bring to a public engagement-- I have gotten myself out of bed after my oral surgery long enough to pen these few words....and so I don't bleed to death from the gums it's gonna be quick with a few links about a true independent lady...Michelle Obama at the end.
The following is from an article about Hillary describing her husband Bill:
"Hillary Clinton, in her recent interview in the premier issue of Talk Magazine, claimed Bill Clinton was an "abused child" who was traumatized by constant battles between his mother and grandmother. This fighting caused such emotional scars that Bill Clinton, caught in the middle and always feeling he had to please both women, now has sexual problems and needs to get help. Hillary compared Bill's sexual habits with the drinking of an alcoholic and likened the Oval Office affair to a relapse."

'Is this the kind of spouse Americans need back in the White House' is the questions we all must ponder in the midst of our face-changing Jekyl/Hyde media.
Silver spoons were spit-shin'd and polished by hands of the darker hue,
No yorkshire pudding enter'd the mouths of a family called Robinson or the divorcee nursing a mulatto marvel.
Dashikis in the pulpit do not "A True Christian" make;
Light-skinned preacher cannot trace his own ancestry.
Old retir'd preacherman losing credibility turns back to shuckin' & jivin', National Press Club always was a sucker for a free Al Jolson minstrel show,
But do we dare judge a man from his associations without judging the true heart of that individual?
Human actions of the past and the present are a key.
Will the true American keymaster lock up the dreamer
Will the true Americans allow media to tell them what to do when they refuse to find THE TRUTH for themselves?

Check out the Stephen Cobert video with Michelle Obama. Just had oral surgery with two upper wisdom teeth removed from my right and left jawbones in my own head...(smile) so I can't be here long:
Michelle on WOMEN'S ISSUES!!!!
Some Pundit Stuff:
Michelle's Biography that the Media will not tell:
From a woman who knows what it is like to hide her identity to make white people feel comfortable until I learned to be myself--regardless of the boneheads that surrounded me in my own life:
I, Cynth'ya, as a woman am very moved my Michelle's intelligence, her wit, and her honesty. If you believe in equal rights for women, how can a woman president whose husband disrespects women represent us all?

|Bonehead is the exact name to anyone who goes to a church for 20 years and hears racism and then expects people to believe he was never affected by it. I am an Italian-American and I was HIGHLY insulted by that idiot Wright's comments-they were racist, they were offensive and they would NEVER be looked at as no big deal if spoken by a white preacher that Hillary Clinton was friends with and listened to his sermons for 20 years. She would be out of the race so fast, it would make your head spin. Not only that, she would have no career of any kind ever again. I don't have any feelings on Hillary, and I was appalled at Bill Clinton's "if we ignore it maybe it will go away" view of terrorism throughout the 90's which brought about 9/11, so I am certainly not defending them, as I am a political Independent. But I, as an Italian American, am sick of people not realizing racism goes both ways. And what does this have to do with Barrack Obama you might ask-my entire opinion of him changed the second that idiot Wright spoke his vile racist remarks-if you were preached to by Hitler for 20 years and his family friend, I guess you would vote for him, too, is the kind of thinking people want us to swallow-I, for one, will not. Not when my family came here and struggled against just such racism.|

|Convincing, Lewis Reed. Maybe Michelle should be the candidate. Why not? Good read.|

|A trio of liberals with not a scintilla of respect for the American electorate. Socialism runs rampant in American politics. A man of constantly waffling rhetoric with no actual, specific plans on how to make anything better, scares me too. Where is the heart of such a man? Certainly not rooted in Christian values.|

|I pray that the correct candidate is chosen. I did my part. I think it is sad that McCain is flying under the radar at this point. He scares me for several reasons...1) he can't remember anything, 2) he is old and 3)no experience with economics. People better get some Java and wake up.|

|May your recovery from oral surgery be swift and may the pain meds help more. I read the second link on Michelle Obama's history. And it said mainly what I already knew. She is outspoken and speaks her mind and may us boneheads pay attention. lol. I am swayed by the media but also investigate further into people who may be elected president (Okay, I don't bother looking up the republicans, I confess) There is no shortage of intelligence in either candidate for president on the democratic side and it makes a decision difficult. So my plan is to vote for which ever one wins the nomination I will be voting for. How's that for being swayed. And I must say that as a white woman who has had to hide her identity to get along with men of any color, it's not fun. More power to you. Excellent write. Liz|

|Oh Cynth'ya, I pray you will soon be feeling better and know what pain you must be feeling. As for the "circus" that is now smacking us constantly in the face, I see no good outcome. We have three liberals hoping to be the next President of this fine country, but none really care about this country nor its future. Why are we always left to chose the lesser of two evils, instead of chosing the one most concerned for this fine land. As for Jeremiah Wright, he is not running for office so his issues are non issues.
Be always safe,

|WIsh you a swift recovery.
Now then onto the poem which captivates from the first line. The composition of words is elegant and bone bare. Your style is unique and enriched. I fell head over heels into your world of words.
As for Bill and 'sexual problems' PUUUUUUUUHLEEEEEEEASSSSSSE. All of us were traumatized as children in one form or another, present day society permits it be acceptable by painting quaint little psychological monikers over every day foul ups. We are human and fallible. Excuses do no one an ounce of good.

First of all, hope you feel better. Ow. Oral surgery *cringe*
Second, the media will only tell us what we want to hear: the more vicious it is, the more scandalous (know I spelled that wrong), oh! We want more! Especially if it's a lie - shame on us, for listening, for falling for it.
Still and all, a preacher should not say "GD", especially in church. That's highly offensive to me.
I only hope that America makes the right choice, or we're all in trouble.
Excellent write - well done.
(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.
