Waves of memory in memory of a wave…
my mother, Fiu.
-- Art © by Marcia Snedecor
|
of the wave that became foam
mother-wave, mine, became foam…
upon the sand, salt persists; yet, not of tears, no.
but of the next tide, the one to flow -
that, of the foam, will engender the crest of another wave…
then another…
and another…
and another…
and another…

~~~~~~~~
Fiu, my mother, the wave, became foam last Sunday; her soft, iridescent colours blended, with a whisper, with those of the sun, as it set into the ocean. She is home.
| She will be remembered by all of us who love you and glimpsed her through a little revelation of your heart. Beautiful tribute. |
Fiu (the words never read) but they were, like yours, and when we open the windows the winds will come to whisper soothing words, like she did, seeing tears of sorrow in your eyes.
Always here
(((Alexandra))),
I am so sorry for your loss - my Mom died 18 years ago, I miss her, still -
So Neruda-esque, this moving current of beauty in tribute to your own beloved Mother - who will live on in memory, and in your words, as she gently kisses the shores of your soul and lingers in the air -
(((((HUGS))))) love and prayer, Karla. :( |
The ocean brings comfort and rebirth and cleansing. The foam is the continual of this. You are a very lucky woman to have had such a beauty of a mom. Her wonderful spirit lives on in your soul, Alexandra, and with that spirit it will be your driving force.
Embrace her death as a rebirth of a new spirit born within your being. You will bring forward all that she was and will always be.
Much peace, love, and angel light to you and your family,
Beauty and love share your world now because she was in it!
Dear Alexandra,
The sea is a vessel of constant rebirth and one of nature's most celebrated wonders. I am told that all chants and prayers evolve from sea foam. Your mother is in good care and she will kiss many shores...bon voyage, Fiu...may your spirit float on the early boats made of planks sewn together and may your anchor be filled with the marvelous wonder of Jaque Cousteau. My thoughts flow with yours and Joseph's OneLight*...
Warmly,
Sage |
| We go on and on after death and so sorry about your Mother. She will be missed but never forgotton, and glad you associated death with the waves and sands too. Water and waves are so refreshing and may you be refreshed in life each time you see the waves. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to you at this time. |
