I Am the King Here!

While visiting my son and his family, I fell in love! Hannah's Cat "Gonzo"

I Am the King Here!

Look at this face, what do ya see?
Do you see contentment on this prized kitty?
Don’t tick me off, stands out very clear.
Giving the pooches around him some fear.

“Don’t get too close unless I agree,”
Is what her face clearly says to me.
Don’t ya love that little pushed in snoot?
Couldn’t ya just kiss it, for it is so cute?

But that expression is saying, “DON’T EVEN TRY.”
Or I’ll hiss and I’ll spit and poke out your eye.
Just look from afar if you cherish your face.
For I am the King here and I like my space.

You may think he's just another pretty face,
But you'll learn quickly, and find your own place.

Love the photo and yes, Cat's are Kings around the house. Mine doesn't like me to leave her all day and bites my hand when I return just to show that she is king or princess or whatever. Used to it now as I know why she is biting me. To SHOW ME SHE MISSED ME. It is great to be missed by someone now.

My mother had one of those, snow white without a spot, egoistical, maniac, mean, ragal, and, knowing that mother was the supreme protector would do outrageous things to everybody with a look saying, I dare you to do anything against me and you won't see mother coming.
Then and there i felt in love with dogs.

Cats... No thanks... Their personalities are a little too sassy for me. :~) I have 12 children who fill in quite well enough for that attitude. hee, hee...

They certainly DO put us in their place, at times. 'Tho I must say, mine don't give me any problems: 5 I've had since their birth, and the other two I saved from death. This is adorable, Bonnie...the poem and the King :o)
