When Gentle Breezes Blow

I think of you in autumn.
I think of you in spring.
And when it’s cold and snow flies
I think of you again.

In the heat of summertime
my mind often drifts your way,
while lazily my thoughts chase
the graying clouds away.

I wonder do you think of me
when stars come out at night,
or when the sun is blazing hot,
or gentle breezes blow?

Yet if you never think of me
one question still remains--
With all the memories that we shared…
how did you clear the slate?

Nice descriptive use of the seasons to create your flow, and then, pow, that question at the end. This is a very creative blend of appreciation for beauties shared and relationship lost...Jerry

Perhaps we all have someone, from our past that for whatever reason creeps into out thoughts from time to time...
--the last stanza is a question I have often asked.
Well written,

take care

I like this one for all it has, for all it is... Beauty abounds; art enchants;
romance sings, and a poetic flower scents "When Gentle Breezes Blow".

I salute You, Poet.
