...Jánakú is the form; For Me, For You the poem...

Jánakú* - For Me, For You

you see
the sky blue

clouds white
like cotton balls

peaceful day
one can enjoy

south winds
become almost hot

the day
lingers thru dusk

changes quickly
when sun sets

are many
sparks like diamonds

prefer sitting
outdoors at night

cool breeze
replaces the heat

calmness replaces
our everyday strifes

Mid Spring
Life has renewed

hay-NA- ku

The form was created by Eileen Tabios. It is simple: A tercet comprised of one-, two- and three-word lines; no set length. Variations can be created from the basic form.

Calmness come to me too at night and I too enjoy sitting out at nights sometimes til 2:00 on a warm balmy summer night. Beautiful photo appropriate for this time of year when all in ablooming and showing off their splendid colors.
