Daylight slowly fades from the window

And leaves the room in darkness…

Bringing with it a sense of despair.

Much like hope when it vanishes from a soul,

Leaving it to question…to wonder exactly

How and when life became so muddled.

But it is there the next morning, upon

Opening your eyes and witnessing the sun

Out on the horizon…

Another opportunity…

Another possibility…

Yup . . . And not make the same mistakes as we have in the past . . . Therein lies the crux of the problem . . . Like you always say about my poetry, well most of the time, you gave us a lot to contemplate . . .

I like the positive conclusion here. How true that our life becomes that which we're willing to believe is possible - what we're willing and able to see from our perspective - and what we're able to see when we adjust that perspective.

A beautiful write Dawn
I like to believe "take one day at a time"
one day as it comes to work things out
don't think of tomorrow because when it arrives
it will be just another "Today",
as others are still planing for yet another tomorrow.
Love & peace be with you
