this has to be a dream
i'm alone by a stream
the wind blows stealthily
and white feathers gather
into the form of a cape
and wrap around my shoulders

last night i dreamed i painted
these feathers in a headress
and the profile of an indian woman
wearing them,it was beautiful
the feathers edged with a
rainbow of soft pastels

this morning i awoke seeing
a yomg buck set a fire outside
a teepee, i heard drums beating
but as i got out of bed the vision

now i'm by this stream,and
suddenly the drums beat again
and i begin a melodic chant
stunned that it is coming from me

i run away through the forest
and the feathers come apart
floating all around me,and a
tree shouts" you can't run away
from yourself" and i wake up

Impressive images, your dreams, E.T. More beautiful your words of telling. I always wonder about dreams I have similar to this...are they from our past, or our future? Or are they simply images implanted in our minds from something we've read or seen?
Dream on, dear friend!

Wow, one lovely dream filled with the images of a more peaceful time spent by a stream. When life was young and all around was once pristing and no, you can hide but you can never run away from who you are, exquisitely stated...
