A fictional romantic poem of thankfulness.
A sweet heart fell out of the pie,
I didn't bother to ask why,
or where she came from,
I just stood in aw numb.
Frozen in my steps of feet,
because she is so sweet.
I'm afraid to adjust my position,
it might affect my admission,
for I need no other transition.
If there is a change,
I would not find it strange,
A million dollars will break,
for her sweet love the change
I wouldn't take.
I'd scream and holler,
before I'd take a dollar,
put a love noose around my collar.
Hang my cherry why,
eat my apple pie
Increase the million to multiply,
I never would let
this love pass me by.

|Great write, Gem, but the yellow font is a bit hard on the ol' peepers. Very well penned, though!
