Frayed Parvenu
From the dastardly pompous inflections
upon an ego of frayed parvenu;
Are many a tawdry pretentious man
riding down the regal forces of an avenue.
Up on the splurged high horse of fustian
where there is no-one left to decide,
a forgotten gimcracks fate awaits a shoddy man
in the corners of his ride.
