Share Print Save Become a Fan Have you ever felt you just couldn't live up to somebody's expectations and whatever you did was just never good enough for them? Well, your living to please yourself, not them!
I am sorry I am not good enough, I'm sorry I'm not you; But, the person who I am, is not up to you to choose. I am sorry I am not smart enough Nor, superior and fit too, I am sorry I am not good enough, Im sorry I'm not you. You seem to only see my flaws, in everything that I do. I can only wish and dream for you to see my accomplishments too. I am sorry I am not good enough, I'm sorry I'm not you; But, the person who I am, is not up to you to choose I'm sorry that I'm "just like her", I'm sorry I'm not better, I apologize for my mistakes, but this girl who I am, you have never met her. But, most of all I'm sorry, that you can't appreciate me for me And I'm really sorry who I truly am, is someone you cannot see. I am sorry I am not good enough, I'm sorry I'm not you; But, the person who I am, is not up to you to choose.

Sarah, we have to be who "we" are..."we" were not put on this earth to live as shadows of someone else. A life is "nothing" when it is controlled to please another. I enjoyed this a lot!

Always be who you are and not worry what others may say or think. Each person is one very unique and special individual, not meant to be a clone of the next, but a person in their own right, very well said and full of emotions.... Be always safe, Karen

Lots of pain in this write and you are correct, you have to live for you. Keep your head up and keep writing, this was well written.
