We are so lucky to have our Mother's in our lives. we were blessed with their love and attention but most of with the precious gift they gave us , the gift of "Life". Happy Mother's day to all the moms on the den. I sure hope I get to post this this time as I have tried several times today.
Mother’s are ANGELS
You held me in your arms,
Gently you sang me to sleep,
You would check throughout the night,
To see if I made a peek.
When I cried in pain,
I knew that you cried too,
No matter what the problem was ,
You knew just what to do.
One day you took me off to school,
You stood back and again you cried,
Because you couldn’t keep me small,
No matter how you tried.
You told me of the Angels,
And God the Father up above,
You taught me it was wrong to hate,
You filled my heart with love.
You taught me to understand,
When others would be untrue ,
You taught me to do my best,
In all I say and do.
You taught me about Heaven,
Our home when we left here,
You taught me of the precious things,
You always showed you care.
Though we were poor back then,
You always prepared food to eat.
Somehow you’d manage,
To even provide a treat.
You taught me that the day would come.
When To your home in Heaven you’d be,
Where you would wait at Heavens gate,
With open arms for me.
You always proved that you were strong,
With open arms one day you went home,
To this day thirteen years have passed,
We think of you and still feel alone.
Always missing you,
Happy Mother’s Day Mom
