What Dreams?

What Dreams?

My dreams; what are my dreams?
 Can I call them dreams?
The fortune, the fame, the stares
 Those are my dreams
 Not just my dreams
 But everyone else’s dreams
As I stare into the mirror I see failure
What ever happened to those dreams?
 Disappeared, shattered, lost forever
I dig in and try to find those dreams
From night to night searching everyday
 But nothing; I stopped searching
Little by little the dreams came back
 Or were they dreams?
 I don’t think so
 This was real
So now I look in the mirror
 I see the same person
 Noticing that dreams are possible
And life gets to you in the most mystifying ways

So then I ask myself again; what are my dreams?
