In amongst twilight,
Soft sand sinks beneath our toes,
Ripples caress us,
Strawberries dripping from chins,
Dusky palms surround
Stroking salty hair,
Eyes reflect opulent seas,
Light fading, seahorses dance,
Under the surface,
Hammock swings slowly,
Gentle slumber emerging,
Fire wood crackles,
Infinitely peaceful realm,
Water love endures

|Anna, the beauty and depth of haiku is in its apparent
simplicity. It ain't easy. But you do it so well. - Gene.

|This one is a definate keeper, so full of the beauty of the sea, the night and two lovers in each others arms. Such a soft dreamy sensuality to it that I truly enjoyed.
